What the Ovante connector does
The connector lets an AI app like Claude read your events, sales, guests, orders, contacts and analytics, signed in as you. Changes are still made in Ovante.
The Ovante connector lets an AI app such as Claude answer questions about your Ovante account. It signs in as you, reads only what you're allowed to see, and today it only reads: building events, emailing guests and approving requests still happen in Ovante.
What it reads
- Your org, its plan and your trial, and the other orgs you work in.
- Events: dates, place, who can register, ticket types, bundles, checkout questions and the public link.
- Sales: revenue, donations, tickets sold, page views and recent orders, as the event's Overview shows them.
- Guests and orders: the guest list with each ticket's status and check-in, and each order's tickets, answers and payment.
- Contacts: people by name, email, tag or event, with what each has attended, spent and given.
- Home, Analytics and the notifications bell.
- Poll results from checkout.
- Ovante's organizer guide, so the app can explain how something works in the words the dashboard uses.
The full list is in Tools.
What it can't do yet
It can't change anything. It doesn't create events, publish, email guests, approve requests, add attendees or refund. Answers about events, orders and contacts carry links into Ovante, so you can open the right page and finish there. Writes come in a later release.
Things to ask
- "How is Gala Under the Stars selling compared with last week?"
- "Which orders for the Spring Community Dinner are waiting for my approval?"
- "Find Dana Cohen and show me every event Dana came to."
- "What needs my attention today?"
- "How did ticket sales this fall compare with last fall?"
How it stays yours
- You connect it on Ovante's consent screen, signed in to your own account. Ovante has no API keys to copy or leak.
- It sees what you see, and less in some places on someone else's team. See What an agent can see.
- Every connection is listed under Settings → Connected apps, with its recent activity. Disconnect ends its access at once.
- The activity log records which tool ran and whether it worked. It records that a search happened, never what you searched for.
- The connector works on every plan.
