Apple Pay doesn't show on my domain
Stripe offers Apple Pay and Google Pay only on a domain registered for your Stripe account. Card payments work on any domain.
Stripe shows Apple Pay and Google Pay in checkout only on a domain registered with Stripe for your connected account. When your event pages live on your own domain, that domain needs its own registration. Until then guests still pay by card on the same page.
Fix it
- 1Write to support@ovante.app with your organization's name and the domain your event pages use, for example
events.yourorg.org. - 2Ask for that domain to be registered for Apple Pay and Google Pay on your Stripe account.
- 3Once it's registered, open an event page on that domain in Safari on an Apple device with a card in Apple Wallet. The Apple Pay button shows in checkout.
Stripe shows Apple Pay only to buyers on an Apple device with a card in Apple Wallet, and Google Pay only where the browser has a saved card, on every domain.
Not this?
- Checkout says Sales not open with no opening time: your processor can't take a charge yet. See Checkout says Sales not open.
- A member's saved card asks for its security code: see A saved card asks for its security code.
