Tickets sold is lower than the orders I see
Tickets sold counts paid and free tickets that still stand. Requests, unpaid pay-later orders and Not going tickets aren't in it, and the Overview follows its period.
Tickets sold counts tickets that are paid or free and still stand. A request waiting for your approval holds no seat, so it isn't counted until you approve it. Nor are tickets set to Not going or refunded, or an order the buyer chose to pay offline that you haven't marked paid. On the event's Overview the figure also covers only the period you picked.
Fix it
- 1On the event's Overview, pick All time in the period switch.
- 2In the event, open Guests → Orders and pick Needs review. These are requests and orders waiting on money.
- 3Approve or decline each request. Approved tickets join Tickets sold at once.
- 4For an order paid by check or another offline method, open it and click Mark as paid when the money arrives.
- When
- An order is a request
- Then
- It holds no seat, and no count or total includes it until you approve it.
- When
- A buyer picks a way to pay offline at checkout
- Then
- Their tickets are booked and hold seats, with payment pending. Ovante records no payment and no gift until you click Mark as paid.
Not this?
- Attendees and Orders show different numbers: see My attendee count and order count don't match.
- Approve is refused: see Approve is refused.
- A request is gone from Needs review: see A request disappeared.
