Your host link

Your host link is the event's address with your code on the end. Share it, and every visit and ticket that comes through it counts toward you.

On this page

When an organizer makes you a host, you get your own link to their event. Anyone who opens it and registers counts toward you, so share it with the friends, family and colleagues you're bringing.

  • In your email. The organizer's email that says you're hosting the event lists Your link.
  • On your membership page, if you're a member of the organization. Your link is on the event's card under Hosting, with Copy and Share. On a phone, Share opens your phone's share sheet.

Lost it? Reply to any email from the organizer and ask them to send it again.

How you get credit

  • Someone opens your link: that visit is yours.
  • They register on that visit: their tickets are yours.
  • They come back later on the same device to the event's plain address: still yours, for 7 days, unless they open another host's link in between.

On an invite-only event, guests need your link on the visit when they register, or they can type your code on the event page. Your code is the part of your link after ref=. The organizer may cap how many tickets your code lets in.

You get an email each time someone registers through your link, saying how many tickets have come through you so far.

What doesn't count

  • Your own visits from a device you've used to open your membership page. Open your membership page once on a device, and you can test your link there without adding visits.
  • The same person reloading the page. A visit counts once until they've been away for 30 minutes.

Questions

Your host emails come from the organizer, and replying goes to them. They can see your visits and the tickets bought through your link.
