Your profile and security
Your name, photo, password, two-factor sign-in and active sessions belong to you, not your organization. Find them under Settings, in the Personal group.
On this page
Your profile and your sign-in settings belong to you, and follow you into every organization you're part of. They live under Settings, in the Personal group: Profile and Security.
Edit your profile
- 1Click Settings in the sidebar, then Profile under Personal. Your name in the menu under your organization's name opens it too.
- 2Change your Profile photo, First name, Last name or Phone number.
- 3Click Save changes. A toast says Profile saved.
Your Email address is your sign-in address and can't be changed here. Write to support@ovante.app to change it.
Turn on two-factor authentication
- 1Open Settings → Security.
- 2Under Enhanced security, click Activate 2FA.
- 3Scan the code with an authenticator app, like Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, or type the key shown under it.
- 4Enter the Six-digit code the app shows and click Turn on.
- 5Save the recovery codes Ovante shows next. Each one gets you in once if you lose your phone. The row then says Two-factor authentication is on.
To stop using it, click Turn off and confirm. Regenerate under Recovery codes makes a new set; the old codes stop working at once.
Change your password
Under Password, enter your Current password, then the New password twice, and click Update password.
See where you're signed in
Active sessions lists each device signed in to your account, with when it was last active and roughly where. The one you're using says This device. Click Sign out on any other device, or Sign out other devices to sign them all out at once.
