Guides
The Attendees pageYour door list. One row per ticket holder, status counts that filter the list, a ticket filter, seats against capacity, and Export. The Orders pageOne row per order, with requests waiting on you pinned to the top. Filter by status or ticket type, decide requests in bulk, and open any order's drawer.Add attendees by handAdd comps, people who paid you directly, or a guest list yourself. A first name and a ticket type are all a ticket needs.Add a guest to an existing orderAdd guest puts more tickets on an order that already exists, under the same buyer and order number. The added tickets are free.Change a ticket's name or emailEdit a ticket holder's details from the ticket drawer. A new email can move the ticket to another contact, and Ovante tells you which before you save.Name an unnamed ticketAn unnamed ticket is an extra ticket the buyer didn't name. Give it a name or an email and it becomes that person's, with their own contact.Change a guest's statusMove a ticket, or a whole order, between Going and Not going, and choose whether to email them. On an event with approval tickets, a free ticket can go back to review.Set a ticket to Not going or delete itRevoking sets a ticket to Not going and keeps it on record. Deleting removes it for good. Revoke when someone isn't coming; delete only to clear a mistake.Review requestsAn order holding a ticket that needs approval is a request. Approve or decline the whole order from its drawer or in bulk, and choose whether to email the buyer.
Pro or Gala
Export your guest listExport on the Attendees page downloads every ticket on the event as a CSV, whatever search or filter you have on, with one column per checkout question. How it works
Orders, tickets and attendeesAn order is what a buyer did. A ticket is a seat for one person. Attendees are the people holding tickets. How paid requests are chargedA paid request holds the buyer's card at checkout and charges it only when you approve. If the hold has lapsed, Ovante charges the card the buyer saved; if that fails, the buyer gets a link to pay.Who changed a status, and whenOvante records every change to a ticket's status, who made it and how. A ticket that's Not going says who set it, or why, and when. The ticket page your guests getEvery order has one ticket page, linked from each confirmation. It holds the QR code, the order's state, calendar and directions, and it updates itself during the event.
