My gallery or background effect is gone
The photo gallery is part of Showcase and Interactive pages, so a Standard page hides it. Your photos stay saved.

The gallery shows only on Showcase and Interactive pages, and only while its switch is on. Switch a page to Standard and Edit event hides the Gallery section and the page drops it. Your photos stay saved. Background effects work on every page style.
Fix it
- 1In the event's header, click Edit event.
- 2Under Page style, pick Showcase or Interactive.
- 3In the Gallery section, turn the switch on. Your photos are still there.
- 4Click Save.
For a background effect, pick one under Background effect in the same drawer. On a browser that can't run it, the page shows a still version in the same colors. An effect Ovante retired shows as the closest one still offered.
