Add an admission ticket

An Interactive page sells one ticket, the admission. Add it with Add admission on the Tickets page; it always comes first.

On this page

An Interactive page is built around one ticket, the admission, with sponsorship levels for people who give more. The page shows it as one card with the seats reserved and remaining, its price, and a countdown when the price is about to rise.

Add the admission

  1. 1
In the event, open Sales → Tickets.
  2. 2
Click Add ticket, then Add admission. The menu says "The one ticket the page sells".
  3. 3
Fill in the Name, Ticket price and anything else you need, as for any ticket type.
  4. 4
    Click Create ticket type.

Once the event has its admission, Add admission is turned off and says "An Interactive event has one". Bundles aren't offered on an Interactive page.

What the page shows

  • The seats reserved and remaining across the top of the card, counted from the Seats you set in Edit event. Sponsors' guests take seats too.
  • The price, the name and What's included.
  • Under the card, a countdown to the next price increase, if you scheduled one.

The counts on the page refresh every so often while a guest has it open, and right after an order.

Always first

The admission is the first ticket in the event's order. Reorder tickets keeps it first and orders anything else behind it. If you switch an event with several tickets to Interactive, the first one in its order becomes the admission.

Good to know

  • Sponsorship levels on an Interactive page can include seats of the admission, and can sell at checkout. See Set up sponsorship levels.
  • A level's seats can't use a ticket type that needs approval. The level sheet marks those "(needs approval)".
