Some guests see a time zone after the time
Your event page shows times in the event's own time zone and adds the zone only for visitors whose clock is set to another one.
Owner · Admin · Manager
Your event page always shows times in the event's time zone. When a visitor's device is set to a zone where the clock reads differently, the page adds the zone after the times, like "7:00 PM EST", so nobody turns up an hour off. Visitors in the event's own zone see no zone at all. The ticket page, checkout and emails always name the zone.
Fix it
Nothing needs fixing when the zone is right. If it's wrong:
- 1In the event's header, click Edit event.
- 2Under When, pick the right Time zone.
- 3Click Save. The page, tickets and emails follow.
Not this?
- The event keeps selling after it started: see My event still sells after it started.
- The address doesn't show: see The address isn't showing.
