A guest's ticket is under the wrong person
A ticket joins the contact that holds its email. Change the ticket's email to the guest's own, and it moves to the right contact.

Ovante puts a ticket on the contact that holds the ticket's email. If the buyer typed someone else's email for a guest, often their own, the ticket landed on that person's contact. A different name or phone doesn't move it.
Fix it
- 1In the event, open Guests → Attendees and click the ticket.
- 2Click Edit.
- 3Change Email to the guest's own address. The field suggests your contacts as you type, and a note under it says which contact the ticket will land on.
- 4For an address no contact has, choose Same person to give the ticket's current contact this email, or Someone else to make a new contact.
- 5Click Save.
If the guest has no email to give, check Contacts → Review. When it lists the registration under Same email, different details, Split off moves it to a new contact without an email.
- When
- You change a ticket's email
- Then
- The ticket moves to the contact that holds the new email, and the note under the field says so before you save. An address no contact holds asks whether it's the Same person or Someone else.
- When
- A registration has a contact's email but a different phone or last name, and Contact matching compares them
- Then
- It joins that contact anyway, and Review lists it under "Same email, different details" for you to mark Same person or Split off. Nothing waits.
Not this?
- The ticket says Unnamed ticket: see A ticket says "Unnamed ticket".
- One person has two contacts: see The same person appears twice.
