Pledge from your ticket
During a gala's appeal, your ticket page can show Tonight's appeal. Pick an amount and pledge as the person on your ticket. Nothing is charged now.
On this page
At some galas, the evening's appeal takes pledges right from your ticket page. While it's live, a Tonight's appeal card shows the room's total so far and the giving levels. A pledge is a promise, like raising your paddle: nothing is charged now, and the organizer follows up about paying it.
Pledge
- 1Open your ticket page from the View your ticket button in your confirmation email.
- 2Under Tonight's appeal, tap a level, or type your own amount in Other amount. The level the room is on is marked Now.
- 3If your order holds tickets for several people, pick who the pledge is from.
- 4To keep your name off the big screen, turn on Pledge anonymously.
- 5Tap Pledge, then confirm.
Your pledge appears under Your pledges, with where it stands, like "On the screen" or "Waiting for the team to add it".
Undo
Right after you pledge, an Undo button shows with a countdown. Tap it before the countdown ends to take the pledge back. After that, ask the organizer.
Good to know
- There's a most you can pledge from your ticket; above it, the card asks you to talk to the team.
- One order can make up to 3 pledges a minute and hold up to 10 at once.
- When the appeal pauses or closes, the card says so.
To reach the organizer, reply to your ticket email.
