I can't turn on approval for a ticket
Require approval needs Pro, and Stripe as your processor, because the card is held until you decide.
Owner · Admin · Manager
Require approval in a ticket's sheet turns on only for an org on Pro whose active processor is Stripe. A paid request holds the buyer's card until you decide, and PayArc can't hold a card yet. The switch says why it's off: "A Pro feature" on Free, or "Needs Stripe" on PayArc. Turning approval off is always allowed.
Fix it
- 1On Free: the owner opens Settings → Plans and upgrades to Pro.
- 2On PayArc: the owner opens Settings → Payments, connects Stripe if it isn't, and sets Active payment processor to Stripe. Switching keeps both connections.
- 3In the event, open Sales → Tickets, click the ticket, turn on Require approval in the Checkout card and click Save.
- When
- A cart holds a ticket that needs approval, alone or inside a bundle
- Then
- The whole order becomes a request: every ticket on it, the buyer's and the guests', waits for your decision together.
- When
- A buyer places a paid request
- Then
- Ovante holds the amount on their card and charges nothing until you decide. The card is saved too, in case the hold runs out first.
Not this?
- Approve is refused on a request: see Approve is refused.
- Hosts or check-in are turned off too: that's the same plan. See Free, Pro and Gala.
