The sponsor list
With Gala, the Sponsors page opens with every sponsor of the event: their level, what they owe, their logo, their guests and who to call. Each row opens the sponsor's drawer.
On this page
On an event with Gala, the Sponsors page starts with a list of every sponsor, above your sponsorship levels. It's where you see who has paid, who still owes a logo, and how many guests each sponsor has named.
Open the list
In the event, open Fundraising → Sponsors. The Sponsors section is at the top, with the logo deadline above it when you've set one.
What each column shows
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Sponsor | The sponsor's name, or Anonymous with their name beside it |
| Level | Their sponsorship level, or No level |
| Amount | The level's price, or an amber chip with what's still due |
| Logo | None, Submitted, Approved or Changes requested |
| Guests named | How many of their seats have a name, or No seats |
| Contact | Who to reach about the sponsorship |
Click a column to sort by it. Above the table, a line counts the sponsors and the logos waiting for your review.
Open a sponsor
Click a row to open the sponsor's drawer. From top to bottom:
- To collect, when they were added as Not paid yet, with Mark as paid.
- Logo: the file, Approve, Request changes, or upload one for them.
- Listing: Name on the list, Website (the logo links there), Anonymous and Show on the event page.
- Contact: a name and an email.
- Benefits: what their level includes, ticked as it's done.
- Open order, with how many guests are named.
Listing and contact changes are one draft: click Save, or Discard to drop them. Logo actions and benefit ticks save at once.
Anonymous and hidden
| Setting | On your event page | In this list |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous on | Listed as Anonymous, with no logo or link | Anonymous, with their real name beside it in gray |
| Show on the event page off | Not listed at all | Still here, marked Hidden |
A hidden sponsor also leaves Remind all and their order page's logo task.
The toolbar
- Add sponsor records a sponsorship you sold yourself. See Add a sponsor.
- Remind all emails every sponsor who still owes a logo.
- Export sponsors (the download icon) saves the list as a CSV, with each approved logo's link.
Good to know
- On a Gala event, sponsorship levels don't sell at checkout, because Gala events use the Showcase style. Sponsors reach you through the button on your page, and you add them here.
- Once Gala closes, the list and drawers are read only. Export still works.
- When
- A sponsorship level sells
- Then
- Each seat it includes is a ticket at the admission's value, and the rest of the price is a sponsorship gift. That's why most sponsorship money shows under Donations, not Revenue.
- When
- A sponsorship level has Sell at checkout on
- Then
- Guests can pick it with Join and pay by card. The switch exists only on an Interactive page and needs at least one seat; on every other page, guests reach you through the button in Become a sponsor.
