What only the owner can do
Payouts, billing, integrations and managing Admins belong to the owner alone. Deleting and duplicating events don't: Admins can do both, and Managers can duplicate.
The owner is the person who created the organization. Four things belong to the owner alone: payouts, billing, integrations and managing Admins. Everything else is shared with roles below, including deleting and duplicating events.

The owner also gets the email before the free trial ends, and is the only one who can't be removed from the team or leave it. Ovante has no button to hand ownership to someone else; write to support@ovante.app if the owner needs to change.

Good to know
- A duplicate is a new event in the same organization, always saved as a draft.
- An event that has taken any payment can't be deleted, so Ovante keeps those records for your books and refunds. Ovante offers to unpublish it instead.
- Delete event and Duplicate show only to a role that can use them, and only while you're working in the event's own org.
- Deleting and duplicating used to be the owner's alone. Since Oct 19, 2026, they follow the roles above.
