My new event saved as a draft
Every new event starts as a draft that only your team can see. Publish it from the status button in its header.
Owner · Admin · Manager
Every new event starts as a draft, on every plan, and a duplicated event does too. A draft's page works only for your team, so you can check it before anyone else sees it. Publishing is its own step.
Fix it
- 1Open the event. The status button in its header says Draft.
- 2Click it and choose Published.
- 3If Ovante asks you to set up your calendar page, fill it in and click Save and publish. Otherwise click Publish in the confirm.
- 4The button now says Published, and anyone with the link can open the page.
On Free, step 3 is refused when 3 events are already live. See I can't publish another event.
Not this?
- The page is published but hidden from your calendar page: that's Visibility under Status in Edit event. See Who can see and register.
- The page opens but nobody can buy: see Checkout says Sales not open.
