Duplicate is missing
Duplicate makes a new event, so it needs a role that creates events: the owner, an Admin or a Manager. You also need to be working in the event's org.
Owner · Admin · Manager
A copy is a new event in your org, so Duplicate shows only to someone whose role can create events: the owner, an Admin or a Manager. Viewers and Door staff don't see it. It also shows only while the org you're working in is the event's own org.
Fix it
- 1Check the org at the bottom of the sidebar. If it isn't the event's org, open the menu and switch to it.
- 2If your role is Viewer or Door staff, ask the owner or an Admin to make you a Manager in Settings → Team.
- 3On Events, open the event card's menu and click Duplicate. Or in the event, open Settings → General and click Duplicate under Event actions.
Every copy starts as a draft, and a copy of an event with Gala has no Gala.
- When
- You duplicate a Gala event
- Then
- The copy has no Gala and starts as a draft, with its seating unpublished.
Not this?
- The copy is a draft nobody can see: see My new event saved as a draft.
- A change looks saved and comes back: see I saved but nothing changed.
