My event stopped selling early on Free
Free caps how many attendees each event takes. Upgrade to Pro, or add Gala to the event, and it sells again.
Owner
On Free, each event takes up to 50 attendees. At that point the button says Sold out and buyers read "This event is at capacity." They never see your plan. An event with Gala has no cap, and Pro has none.
Fix it
- 1Open Settings → Plans. Only the org's owner can change the plan.
- 2On the Pro card, click Upgrade to Pro (or start the free trial if the card offers one) and finish checkout.
- 3Open your event page. It sells again as soon as Pro starts. Nothing on the event needs changing.
To lift the cap for one event only, add Gala to it. See What Gala is.
- When
- An event on Free reaches 50 attendees
- Then
- Checkout stops selling and the button says Sold out; buyers read that the event is at capacity. Events on Pro and events with Gala have no such cap.
- When
- Pro ends
- Then
- Free's rules apply from then on. Events already live stay live, but an event past 50 attendees stops selling and the Pro features turn off, except on events with Gala.
Not this?
- You set a limit yourself: Limit attendees under Capacity on the event's settings caps it too. See Set capacity.
- Every ticket type reached its own quantity: the button also says Sold out. See Add a ticket type.
- You can't publish another event: see I can't publish another event.
