A ticket says "Unnamed ticket"
The buyer took an extra ticket and left the guest's name and email blank. Name it in the ticket drawer and it becomes that guest's.
Owner · Admin · Manager
At checkout the buyer took more than one ticket and left a guest's name and email blank. The ticket stays on the buyer's order and carries the buyer's email so the confirmation has somewhere to go. Until you name it, it's nobody's: it adds no contact and sends nothing to your integrations. The line under it says whose order it's on.
Fix it
- 1In the event, open Guests → Attendees and click the Unnamed ticket row.
- 2Click Edit. The dialog says Name this ticket.
- 3Type the guest's First name and Last name, and their Email if you have it.
- 4Click Save. The ticket becomes that guest's, and the guest joins your contacts.
- When
- A guest ticket has no name and no email
- Then
- It stays on the buyer's order as an unnamed ticket, carrying the buyer's name, email and phone so the confirmation and the door have something. It makes no contact and sends nothing to integrations until you name it.
- When
- You give an unnamed ticket a name or an email
- Then
- It becomes that person's: a contact, a row on their timeline, and a new registration sent to your integrations.
Not this?
