A member didn't get a sign-in code
Codes go by text or email. When a text doesn't arrive, the member asks for a new code or switches to email.
Members sign in with a one-time code that Ovante sends to the phone or email on their member account. A text can be delayed or filtered by the phone carrier, and an email can land in spam. Where texting isn't available the form offers email only.
Fix it
- 1On the code screen, wait for Send a new code to appear, then tap it.
- 2Still nothing by text: tap Change next to the number, tap Use email instead and enter their email.
- 3Check spam and promotions for an email from your organization's name.
- 4Make sure they typed the phone or email their membership uses. Any other one won't sign them in to it.
If the code is refused, the form says it's incorrect or has expired. Tap Send a new code and use the newest one.
Not this?
- The member is signed in but sees no member price: see The member price doesn't show.
- A saved card asks for its security code: see A saved card asks for its security code.
