HelpAbout Gala

About Gala

What the Gala add-on changes on an event.

Guides

Gala settings and deadlinesSettings → Gala shows how long Gala is open, holds the three deadlines your buyers work to, and links to each Gala page in the event menu.

Let people give without attendingTurn on one switch and checkout first asks whether a guest is coming. Those who can't attend go straight to the donation screen and pay for a gift alone.

How it works

What Gala isGala is an upgrade for one event, paid once, that adds sponsors, journal ads, seating and a live appeal. Get it with Talk to us on Settings → Gala.

How long Gala stays openGala opens when Ovante turns it on and stays open until some weeks after your event ends, never longer than a set time from the unlock. Then every Gala page turns read-only.

Deadlines and remindersOvante emails each buyer who still owes a logo, an ad or guest names ahead of each deadline, once per reminder. Remind all and Request changes email on demand.

Your buyers' order pageA sponsor, table or ad buyer finishes what they owe from their order link: upload a logo, name their guests, send their ad. The link is the key, so nobody signs in.

Gala on the OverviewOn a Gala event the Overview adds two cards: Raised, what the gala has brought in by stream against your goal, and What's waiting, the logos, ads and guest names still due.

When Gala closesAfter Gala closes, everything it recorded stays readable and exportable, but nothing can change, nothing new sells through it, and the Pro features it gave the event end.

Gala and your planWhile Gala is open, that one event runs every Pro feature whatever your plan, pays no Ovante fee, has no attendee cap and doesn't count toward Free's live-event limit.
