I can't publish another event
Free limits how many events are live at once. Unpublish one you're done promoting, or upgrade to Pro.
Owner · Admin · Manager
On Free, up to 3 events can be live at a time: published and not yet ended. Publishing one more is refused, and the toast says Free includes 3 live events at a time. Drafts, ended events and events with Gala don't count. Moving an ended event's date into the future makes it live again, so that counts too.
Fix it
- 1Hover the status button in the event's header to see how many live events are in use, or open Settings → Plans.
- 2Open an event you no longer need live, click Published, choose Draft, then click Unpublish. Its page and checkout stop working; people who registered keep their tickets.
- 3Back on the new event, click Draft, choose Published, then click Publish.
Or upgrade to Pro for no limit. See Upgrade to Pro.
- When
- An org on Free already has 3 live events
- Then
- Publishing another is refused until one ends or you unpublish one. Drafts, events that have ended and events with Gala don't count.
Not this?
- A dialog asks for your calendar page first: Ovante asks once, before your first publish. See Set up your calendar page.
- The toast says Your role can't change this event: see I saved but nothing changed.
- Your new event is a draft: see My new event saved as a draft.
