What Gala is

Gala is an upgrade for one event, bought once for $2,500, for running a fundraising gala in Ovante. It adds a sponsor list, journal ads, tables and seating, printed cards and a live appeal to that event, and nothing to your other events.

What it adds

• Sponsors: every sponsor in one list, their logos reviewed and placed on your page, and the benefits each one is owed.
• Journal: ad sizes guests buy at checkout, ad files to review, and a ZIP for your printer.
• Seating: tables, a full-screen seating editor, auto-seat, and guests' tables on their tickets and at the door.
• Print: badges, place cards, escort cards, table numbers and paddle cards.
• Appeal: a live screen for the room, a console to run it from a phone, paddle entry, and pledges from guests' own tickets.
• Honorees and committee: on a Gala event, your hosts become the committee, and you add the people you're honoring.

How to get it

An Ovante admin turns Gala on for you. To ask:

   In the event, open Settings → Gala. On a Standard event, open Settings → General and click See what Gala adds in the Gala section.

   Click Talk to us. It opens an email to the Ovante team with the event's name in the subject.

The page also lists everything that comes with Gala. Ovante can turn it on for an event that hasn't ended yet; once an event is over, it's too late.

Where it lives

Gala has no tab of its own. Each part is a page in the event menu, in the section it belongs to:
