Add missing emails
Find the tickets with no email while you write a blast, and add an address to each one without leaving the builder.
Owner · Admin · Manager
A ticket with no email can't get your blast. The Recipients step lists those tickets and lets you add an address to each, so they're included before you send.
Add an email
- 1In the event, open Outreach → Emails and open your blast.
- 2On Recipients, click Missing email. Its label counts the tickets without one, such as Missing email · 3.
- 3On a ticket marked No email, click Add email.
- 4Type the address and click Save. A toast says that person can get this email now.
The summary at the top counts how many of the event's tickets have an email on file, and goes up as you add them.
Where the address goes
Ovante saves the address on the ticket itself, the same as editing it in the ticket drawer. The person's contact follows, so the address is there for every email after this one.
In a custom list, the ticket you fixed is ticked for you. In a dynamic audience, it joins if it matches the rule.
Good to know
- You can't tick a ticket with no email in a custom list until you add one.
- An unnamed ticket uses its buyer's email, so it rarely needs one.
- To change an address that's already there, edit the ticket. See Change a ticket's name or email.
The rule behind this page
- When
- Tickets in the audience have no email
- Then
- They're listed but not counted. Add email fixes one in place, and in a custom list ticks it too.
