The live screen, paddles and pledges.

Guides

Set up the appealOn the Appeal page, create the appeal, then set its goal, the giving levels, a match, whether names show on the screen, and whether guests can pledge from their tickets.

Run the live screenOpen the appeal's screen link on the venue's laptop. It shows the total, the level, the match and the latest names live. The link is the key, so share it only with whoever runs the screen.

The appeal consoleRun the appeal from a phone or tablet: start, pause and close it, call each level, switch what the screen shows, look after each gift, and approve pledges from tickets.

Enter paddlesPaddle entry turns a phone into a keypad for recording raised paddles during the appeal. Anyone who can check guests in can use it, and it keeps working offline, sending entries in order.

Let guests pledge from their ticketGuests can pledge from their own ticket page during the appeal. Choose Off, Review first or Straight on, and a cap. Nothing is charged; a pledge is a promise.

PledgesThe Pledges list on the Appeal page holds every pledge from the night, with each donor's email and phone, so you can collect. Filter it, search it, and export it.

Mark a pledge as paidWhen a pledged check, transfer or cash comes in, mark the pledge as paid. It becomes a gift that reaches Transactions, the Donations page, the contact and your CRM.

How it works

How a pledge becomes moneyA raised paddle or a guest's pledge is a promise. It counts on the live screen at once, but only becomes money in your books when you mark it paid.
