Embed events on your website
Copy a snippet of code to show one event, or your whole calendar, on a page of your own site. Tickets and checkout work inside it.
An embed puts Ovante inside a page you already have, such as your website's events page. Guests pick tickets and pay without leaving your site. You can embed one event or your whole calendar.
Embed one event
- 1In the event, open Settings and click Get code under Embed. Or open Events, click the menu on the event's card, then Embed.
- 2Look at the Preview. Turn off Use the event's colors if you want plain, neutral colors that blend into your site.
- 3Click Copy beside Embed code.
- 4Paste the code into your site's page, in an HTML or embed block.
"Embed code copied" confirms the copy.
Embed your calendar
The calendar embed shows your published upcoming events. Visitors open each one and check out inside the embed.
- 1Open Settings → Embed.
- 2Turn off Use each event's colors if the events opened inside it should use neutral colors.
- 3Click Copy and paste the code into your site.
Settings → Embed is for the owner and Admins, since it's an organization setting.
Size
The frame fills the width it's given and has a fixed height, which the hint under Embed code gives. If your page needs more room, change the height in the code.
Good to know
- The calendar embed uses your org's saved Public URL. If you change it in Settings → General, copy the code again.
- An unpublished event doesn't show in an embed, the same as on your calendar page.
