Your Pro trial
Every new organization gets Pro free for its first weeks, with no card. Add a card before the trial ends to keep Pro; otherwise you move to Free.
Every new organization gets 28 days of Pro, starting the day it's created, with no card. Add a card before the trial ends to stay on Pro. If you don't, your organization moves to Free on the day the trial ends, and nothing is deleted.
During the trial
- Every Pro feature works: no platform fee, unlimited events and attendees, check-in, hosts and the rest.
- The owner sees the countdown in the sidebar, as Pro trial with the days left, and on the Pro card in Settings → Plans.
- Each organization gets one trial.
Before it ends
- 3 days before the end, the owner gets an email saying when the trial ends, with a Keep Pro button and two lists: what Free still does and what it leaves out.
- In the trial's last days, a banner at the top of every page says when it ends, with Add card.
Keep Pro
- 1Click the Pro trial row in the sidebar, or open Settings → Plans and click Add a card.
- 2Pick Monthly or Annual. Due today shows nothing to pay.
- 3Enter your card and click Save card.
- 4Back on Settings → Plans, a toast says Your card is saved.
The first charge lands on the day the trial ends, so you lose no trial days. Cancel from Manage plan before then and nothing is charged.
If it ends without a card
Your organization moves to Free. Events already live stay live, and everything you set up keeps its data. For a short while after, a banner says Your Pro trial has ended. with Upgrade. You can upgrade any time; see Upgrade to Pro and When Pro ends.
- When
- A new org is created
- Then
- It gets 28 days of Pro with no card. When they end, the org moves to Free unless you've added a card.
- When
- Pro ends
- Then
- Free's rules apply from then on. Events already live stay live, but an event past 50 attendees stops selling and the Pro features turn off, except on events with Gala.
Good to know
- The sidebar countdown, Settings → Plans and the email are the owner's. The banner shows to everyone on your team.
- An organization made before the free trial existed, that never had a plan, sees Start free trial instead. That trial needs a card up front, and the card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
