Set when a ticket is on sale
Each ticket has its own sales window. Turn on Sales start, Sales end or both in the ticket's Sales window card; a ticket with no end keeps selling after the event starts.
Every ticket type sells within its own sales window. An early-bird ticket can stop on Friday while General admission keeps selling, and a door ticket can open the day of the event. Since Oct 25, 2026 there's no event-wide sales window.
Set the window
- 1In the event, open Sales → Tickets and click the ticket.
- 2In the Sales window card, turn on Sales start and pick a date and time to hold sales until then.
- 3Turn on Sales end and pick a date and time to stop sales then.
- 4Click Save.
Times are in the event's time zone, which the card names. Leave a switch off to have no limit on that side.
What guests see
| When | The ticket | The button, if nothing else can be bought |
|---|---|---|
| Before Sales start | Shows its on-sale date instead of a price | Sales not open, with "Ticket sales open" and the date under it |
| Between start and end | On sale | The checkout button as usual |
| After Sales end | Shows that sales ended instead of a price | Sales closed |
Checkout closes only when nothing on the page can be bought. While one ticket or bundle is still on sale, guests can buy it.
A ticket with no end
Without Sales end, a ticket keeps selling during and after the event, until it sells out or you stop it. The page says "This event has started" or "This event has ended" beside the button so guests know. To stop at a set time, turn on Sales end.
Good to know
- Turning off Available for purchase stops one ticket at once, whatever its window says.
- Pause ticket sales on the event's Settings page stops every ticket at once.
- Duplicating an event moves each ticket's window by as much as the event moves.
- When
- A ticket's Sales start is still ahead
- Then
- Checkout doesn't sell that ticket yet. When nothing on the page can be bought, the button says Sales not open and a note by it says when sales open.
- When
- A ticket's Sales end has passed
- Then
- Checkout stops selling that ticket. When nothing on the page can be bought and no other ticket opens later, the button says Sales closed.
- When
- A ticket has no Sales end
- Then
- It keeps selling during the event and after it ends, until it sells out or you stop it. The page says "This event has started" or "This event has ended" by the button.
