Who changed a status, and when

Ovante records every change to a ticket's status, who made it and how. A ticket that's Not going says who set it, or why, and when.

On this page

Every time a ticket moves between Going, Pending approval and Not going, Ovante records the old status, the new one, who made the change and how it came about. The ticket drawer shows the latest move to Not going on its status card, like "By you · Today, 2:37 PM".

Reading the Not going card

Open the ticket from Guests → Attendees. When it's Not going, the line under the title says one of these, then when:

The card saysWhat happened
"By you"You set it Not going, or declined the request.
"By a teammate"Someone else on your team did.
"Refunded"The order was refunded.
"Withdrawn by the buyer"The buyer cancelled their request from their ticket page.
"Closed automatically"The request expired because the event ended before a decision.
"Since Oct 2, 9:10 AM"The change happened before Oct 8, 2026, when Ovante started recording who made it.

How a change is recorded

Ovante files each change under one of five sources: you or a teammate, an approval decision, a refund, the buyer, or the system. A change made in your browser is always recorded as yours; nobody can record a change under someone else's name.

Good to know

  • The record covers every status change, but the drawer shows only the latest move to Not going. Going and Pending approval cards don't name who set them.
  • Deleting a ticket deletes its history with it. See Revoke or delete a ticket.
  • Check-ins aren't status changes; the Checked in card shows the time of the check-in.
