Hosts on an Interactive page
An Interactive page shows hosts by first name only, with a short profile of birth city, university, career keyword and neighborhood.
On an Interactive page, guests see each host by first name only, and the profile asks for a different set of facts than other pages do. Your own screens keep the full name.
First names only
The host sheet on an Interactive event asks for First name and Last name, with a note that only the first name shows on the event page. The cards, the profile a card opens and the "Invited you" chip all use the first name. The Hosts table and the rest of your screens use both.
The profile
Profile on the event page asks for:
| Field | On the card |
|---|---|
| Career keyword | Under the name |
| Neighborhood | Under that |
| Birth city | Side by side with university |
| University | Side by side with birth city |
| Links | Website, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok and Facebook |
There is no job title, company or bio on an Interactive page. Career keyword, university and neighborhood are stored where a Showcase page keeps industry, school and location, so they carry over if you change the page style.
The host who invited them
When a visitor arrives through a host's link, that host's card moves to the front of the row for that visitor, ringed and marked "Invited you". A visitor whose device remembers the host gets the same.
The rule behind this page
- When
- The page style is Interactive
- Then
- The event page shows each host by first name only. Your own screens keep the full name.
