Embed an event
Copy one line of code from the event's settings and paste it into your website. Visitors pick tickets and check out without leaving your page.
Owner · Admin · Manager
The embed puts your event page inside a frame on a page of your own website. Visitors see the event, pick tickets and check out inside the frame, without leaving your site.
Get the code
- 1In the event, open Settings → General.
- 2Under Embed, on Embed on your website, click Get code.
- 3Check the Preview. It shows the page the way a full-width spot on a computer screen would, scaled down to fit.
- 4Leave Use the event's colors on to keep your event's palette, or turn it off for plain, neutral colors that blend into your site.
- 5Under Embed code, click Copy.
- 6Paste the code into your website builder's HTML or embed block, and publish that page. Your event appears in the frame.
You can also open the same panel from the Events page: open the menu on the event's card and click Embed.
Sizing
The frame fills the width of the spot you paste it into and has a fixed height, written in the code. If your page needs more room, change the height number in the code. The panel says how tall the frame is today.
Checkout inside the frame
- Tickets, the checkout form and payment all happen in the frame.
- The link to a buyer's tickets after checkout opens in the whole browser window, not in the frame, so the ticket page has room.
- Your site's own header and footer stay around the frame. The page inside it leaves out the link to your org page.
Good to know
- The code points at the event's link, so changes you make to the event show in the frame at once. You never need to copy the code again.
- A draft event doesn't show to visitors in the frame either. Publish it first.
- To show every upcoming event instead of one, embed your calendar. See Embed your calendar.
