Statuses and terms
Every status Ovante shows, one line each: orders, tickets, requests, events, payment methods, memberships and Gala.
Every status Ovante shows, with what it means. The values come from the app's own lists, so they match what you see on screen. For the words around them, see the Glossary.
Order status
What happened to an order: the decision and the money, never attendance.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending approval | The order holds a ticket type that needs approval, and waits for your decision. |
| Awaiting payment | You approved it and the card failed, or the buyer chose to pay another way, like a check, and hasn't yet. |
| Paid | A payment covers the order. |
| Partially refunded | Some of the order's tickets were refunded. |
| Refunded | Every ticket on the order was refunded. |
| Free | The order cost nothing and has no payment. |
| Declined | The request ended without a ticket. The order drawer says which way it ended. |
A declined order ended one of three ways:

| Declined | You declined it. |
| Expired | The event closed before you decided. |
| Withdrawn by the buyer | The buyer cancelled the request from their order page. |
Ticket status
Whether a ticket's holder is coming. Check-in is separate.

|---|---|
| Going | The ticket holds a seat. |
| Pending approval | The ticket is part of a request and holds no seat yet. |
| Not going | The ticket no longer holds a seat. The record keeps who changed it and when. |
| Checked in | The guest arrived. Shown on the event's own days. |
| Unnamed ticket | An extra ticket nobody has been named for. It's on the buyer's order and belongs to nobody. |
Event status and settings
| Setting | Values |
|---|---|
| Status | Published: the page and checkout work. Draft: they don't. |
| Sales | On sale, Paused (every way to buy is closed until you resume), or Sold out. |
| Visibility | Visible on calendar, Visible to members on a members-only event, or Hidden from calendar. Hidden events still open for anyone with the link. |
| Who can register | Anyone, Invite only (a host's access code at checkout), or Members (signed-in members of the tiers you pick). |
Payment methods
| Method | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Card | Paid at checkout through Stripe or PayArc, including wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. |
| Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Bank transfer, Other | Money you collected yourself and recorded. The processor shows as Offline, with no processing fee. |
| No payment | A free order, or one waiting to be paid. |
Memberships
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The membership is live. |
| Payment due | Live, but the last renewal charge failed. |
| Ending | Live, and set to end at the close of its period. |
| Ended | No longer live. |
When joining needs approval, a request waits on Memberships → Requests with Approve and Decline. An approved request whose card failed shows Waiting for payment until the person pays.
Gala
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| No Gala | The event has no Gala. Its Gala pages show what Gala adds. |
| Open | Gala runs on the event. Settings → Gala says how long it stays open. |
| Closed | Gala has ended. Every Gala page says Gala closed and is read-only. |
