A guest didn't get their confirmation
The ticket drawer shows every email sent for that ticket and whether it was delivered. Fix a mistyped address, then resend.
Owner · Admin · Manager
Ovante logs every email it sends. A confirmation that didn't arrive usually went to spam or promotions, bounced, or went to a mistyped address. A guest whose ticket carries the buyer's email gets no email of their own: the buyer's order confirmation holds every ticket on the order.
Fix it
- 1In the event, open Guests → Attendees and click the guest.
- 2The Emails card lists each email for this ticket, with its status.
- 3Delivered or Opened: ask the guest to search spam and promotions for your organization's name.
- 4Bounced or Failed: check the address. If it's wrong, click Edit, fix Email and click Save.
- 5To send the order confirmation again, open the order, then Order options → Resend confirmation. It goes to the buyer's email shown on the order.
You can also click an email in the Emails card and click Resend. It goes to the same address as before.
Not this?
- The email greeted someone else: see A guest got an email greeting someone else.
- There's no order at all: see Someone paid but has no ticket.
- You didn't get your own sign-up email: see I didn't get the sign-up confirmation email.
