The Events page and calendar
Events lists every event your org runs, as cards grouped by month or on a month calendar. Upcoming and Past split them, and search filters both views.
Events in the sidebar lists every event in your org, drafts included. Each event is the same card Home shows for your upcoming events, with its date, status and sales.
Upcoming and Past
The tabs at the top split your events, each with its count. Upcoming lists events that haven't ended, soonest first, grouped by month. Past lists the rest, latest first. A past event's status reads Ended.
Search finds events by name or place, in both tabs and in the calendar.
Each card's menu
The menu at the end of a card's date strip has:
- Copy link to the event page, and Open event.
- Event settings, Live check-in and Embed.
- Duplicate, for the owner, Admins and Managers.
- Delete event, for the owner and Admins.
The calendar view
Click Calendar view beside the search to see the month as a grid. Every event, past and upcoming, sits on the days it covers in its own time zone, as a pill in its color with its name, time and place.
- An event over several days shows on each day, marked "Day 2 of 3" and so on.
- Past events are faded. A draft's dot is hollow; a published event's is filled.
- A busy day folds its extra events into a "+2 more" link, which opens the day's list.
- The line under the month counts the events that start in it, the people going and, when there's money, the revenue.
- Hover a day from today on and click its plus button, Create event on this day, to start a new event on that day at 7:00 PM.
The arrows move between months, and Today comes back to this month. A month with nothing in it offers a jump to the nearest month that has something.
On a phone, the grid shows dots, and the events of the day you tap list under it.
Good to know
- A draft shows everywhere on this page, so you can find it before you publish.
- If Ovante can't load your events, the page says "Could not load your events" with Try again. It never shows "No upcoming events" for a read that failed.
