Pick a page style
Standard puts details and registration up front, Showcase is a full-page look for galas and dinners, and Interactive sells one ticket plus sponsorship levels.
On this page
Every event page has one of three styles: Standard, Showcase or Interactive. You pick it first when you create an event, and you can switch it any time in Edit event. Your tickets, orders and settings stay the same when you switch; only the page changes.
The three styles
| Standard | Showcase | Interactive | |
|---|---|---|---|
| In one line | Details and registration up front | A full-page look for galas and dinners | One ticket plus sponsorship levels |
| Top of the page | Banner, name, date and place, and the checkout button | A full-width hero with the banner, the name and the button | The same hero as Showcase |
| Tickets | Guests pick them in checkout | Guests pick them on the page, as cards | One admission ticket with seats reserved and remaining |
| Gallery | Not offered | Yes | Yes |
| Sponsorship levels | Listed; sponsors contact you | Listed; sponsors contact you | Listed, and a level can sell at checkout |
| Hosts | Full names | Full names | First names only |
Every style can have a background effect, a title font and your colors. See Design your event page.
The cards you pick from
Each card draws its page small, in your event's colors once the event has some. Hover a card and the drawing scrolls from top to bottom, so you can see the whole page before you pick.
What Interactive adds
- Seats. Edit event asks for the number of seats, and the page counts them down. Sponsors' guests take seats too.
- One admission ticket. The Tickets page offers Add admission instead of Add ticket. See Add an admission ticket.
- A price countdown when you schedule a price increase on the admission.
- The host who invited the guest leads the host row, marked "Invited you".
Change the style later
- 1Click Edit event at the top of the event.
- 2Under Page style, pick another style.
- 3Click Save.
Switching to Standard hides the gallery and keeps its photos. Switching to Interactive asks for Seats before it saves.
An event with Gala always uses Showcase. The Page style section shows it alone and says "Gala events use Showcase."
The rules behind this page
- When
- The page style is Interactive
- Then
- The event page shows each host by first name only. Your own screens keep the full name.
- When
- A sponsorship level has Sell at checkout on
- Then
- Guests can pick it with Join and pay by card. The switch exists only on an Interactive page and needs at least one seat; on every other page, guests reach you through the button in Become a sponsor.
- When
- Gala is unlocked on an event
- Then
- The event switches to the Showcase style and keeps it, even after Gala closes. Its hosts become the committee, and the Gala pages unlock.
