A host's photo changed
A host with a member account shows their own photo, which replaces the one you uploaded. They change it on their membership page.
When a host is linked to a member account, the event page shows the photo from their own account, ahead of the one you uploaded. The same goes for the tall portrait on a Showcase page. The person's own photo wins because it's theirs to change.
Fix it
- 1In the event, open Outreach → Hosts and click the host. Their photo shows read-only, with a note that it comes from their member account.
- 2Ask the host to change it from Edit profile on their membership page. The event page follows.
When an invited host joins with no photo of their own, the headshot you uploaded becomes their account photo.
- When
- A member edits their own name, email, phone or photo
- Then
- Their contact takes the change, even over a field you edited by hand. An email another contact already holds stays where it is.
Not this?
- A contact's name changed: see A contact's name changed by itself.
- You can't add the host: see I can't add a host.
