The bell in the sidebar lists what needs your attention, from payouts not connected to requests waiting. Archive an item and it comes back only if it grows.
On this page
The bell at the end of your organization's row, at the bottom of the sidebar, lists what needs your attention across your events. A blue number on it counts what's in your inbox. Each item says what's wrong and which event, and clicking it opens the page where you fix it.
What the bell watches
Ovante checks for these conditions every time the bell refreshes. Nothing is stored: when the condition clears, the item goes.
| Item | When it shows |
|---|---|
| Payouts aren't connected | A published event takes payment and your organization can't receive payouts yet. |
| Requests waiting for approval | An event has orders waiting for your decision. It turns red when a held card is about to lapse. |
| Starts soon and isn't published | An event starts within a week and is still a draft. |
| Published with no ticket types | A published event that hasn't ended has nothing to sell. |
| Checkouts never completed | Orders on an event have sat unpaid for over a day. |
| Nearly full | An upcoming event has nearly reached its capacity. The item says how full. |
| Host invites pending for over a week | Hosts you invited haven't accepted. |
| Draft emails not sent yet | Emails you started for an upcoming event have sat as drafts for over a week. |
Each item's color says how urgent it is: red for high, amber for medium, gray for low.
Archive
- Point at an item and click Archive to move it out of your inbox. On a phone, the button always shows.
- Archive all clears the inbox at once.
- A toast offers Undo. In the Archive tab, Move to inbox brings an item back.
Archiving is yours alone. Each teammate keeps their own inbox.
Why an archived item comes back
An archived item returns to your inbox on its own when it gets worse: when its count grows, or something new joins it, like another request on the same event. Archiving never hides something new.
When it refreshes
The bell refreshes when you open it, as you move between pages, and after you approve or decline a request.
