How the committee shows on your page

Your committee is listed by name in a Committee section below the sponsors. A long list folds behind View all, and anyone with a profile opens a small drawer.

Gala
On this page

On a Gala event, your committee appears on the event page as a list of names under the heading Committee, below the sponsors. Honorees aren't in it: they have their own portrait cards near the top, under Honoring.

Where it sits

From the top, a Gala event's page runs: the banner and name, the date and place, Honoring, your tickets, your sponsors, then Committee, the Journal, the gallery and About.

What guests see

  • Names in a grid, in the order you set.
  • A long list shows its first names and a View all button with the total. Show fewer folds it again.
  • Someone with more than a name (a title, a place, a bio or links) has a small chevron after their name. Clicking it opens a drawer with their photo, if they have one, their lines and their links.
  • No portrait, no email and no link code ever show. A committee member's link is theirs to share.

Choose who shows

You want toDo this
Leave one person off the listOpen them, turn off Show on the event page, and save. Their link and sales stay.
Hide the whole listClick Committee settings (the gear) and turn off Show the committee on the event page. Honorees keep their own switches.
Change the orderIn Committee settings, drag people into place. The page lists the committee and the honorees in that order.

Give someone a profile

Open their row and fill in Profile on the event page: Title, Company, Location, Short bio and Links. Any one of them is enough to make their name open a drawer. A Photo shows in that drawer too.

Good to know

  • With no committee members showing, the section stays off the page.
  • The list reads the people on the Committee page. Removing someone takes their name off at once.
  • Honorees use portrait cards and a fuller profile. See Add an honoree.
