Someone paid but has no ticket
Search Transactions first; the order is usually under another name or email. If there's a charge and no order, write to support with the details.
Ovante issues tickets once it confirms the payment. Most of the time the order exists under another name or email, or the confirmation went to an address the buyer doesn't check. When a checkout didn't finish on Ovante's side, the bell in the sidebar says checkouts never completed for that event.
Fix it
- 1Open Transactions and search for the buyer's name and every email they use. A guest someone else paid for is on the buyer's order.
- 2If you find the order, open it and choose Resend confirmation. It goes to the buyer's email shown on the order.
- 3If you don't, look for the charge in Stripe: Settings → Payments → Stripe dashboard.
- 4If Stripe has a charge and Ovante has no order, write to support@ovante.app. Include the event, the buyer's name and email, the amount, the date and time of the charge, and the payment's ID from Stripe (it starts with
pi_).
Not this?
- The order is there but the guest didn't get the email: see A guest didn't get their confirmation.
- The order says Awaiting payment: see An approved request says Awaiting payment.
- The order is a request: it has no tickets until you approve it. See Review requests.
