Join, change or cancel your tier

You join from the organization's page, and manage your membership from your membership page: open the menu with your name and click Your membership. Some changes you make yourself; the rest the organizer makes for you.

Join

   On the organization's page, click Become a member.

   Swipe or click through the tiers, then click the button under the one you want, such as "Choose Gold".

   Sign in, or create your account with your phone or email.

   For a paid tier, enter your card and click the button with the price. A free tier skips this step.

   The last screen says you're a member, and Ovante emails you the details if you gave an email.

If the organizer reviews new members, the button reads Ask to join instead. For a paid tier, your card is saved with your request and charged only if you're approved. The organization's page shows Request sent until they decide.

Renew

Monthly and yearly tiers renew by card on their own. A tier paid once for a set time doesn't: as its end date nears, your membership page shows Renew, and Ovante emails you a reminder.

Change your tier

   On your membership page, click Change tier.

   Each tier you can move to reads Upgrade to, Downgrade to or Switch to and its name. Click one.

   Review what changes and what's Due today, then confirm.

Moving between monthly and yearly card tiers is prorated: an upgrade is charged now, and a downgrade leaves credit on your next payment. Moving up to a one-time or lifetime tier takes off the unused part of what you already paid.

A tier marked Not available online is one the organizer has to move you to. That includes moving to a free tier from a paid one, moving to a cheaper prepaid tier, and any change while a payment is due.

Cancel

   On your membership page, under Manage, click Cancel membership. For a free tier it reads Leave membership.

   Read what you'll lose, then click Cancel membership or Leave membership. Keep membership takes you back.

A card membership stays until the end of the period you paid for, and your card isn't charged again. Change your mind before then with Resume membership. A free membership ends at once.
