Your buyers' order page

A sponsor, table or ad buyer finishes what they owe from their order link: upload a logo, name their guests, send their ad. The link is the key, so nobody signs in.

Gala
On this page

On a Gala event, the order page your buyers already get in their confirmation email becomes the place they finish what they owe you. A Before the gala card lists each thing their order still needs, when it's due, and where it stands. The order link is the credential, so buyers never make an account or sign in.

How each task shows

StatusMeaning
Waiting on youNothing sent yet.
Changes requestedYou asked for changes. Your note shows under it.
DoneApproved, every seat named, or sent and waiting for your review.

Each row shows its deadline in the event's time zone, from Settings → Gala. The first task still owed is open with its button; every row opens its own drawer.

When a buyer can't change something

  • After that item's deadline, the order page says the deadline has passed and to contact you.
  • With no Guest names deadline, naming guests closes when the event starts.
  • Once Gala closes, every task locks and the page says the event no longer takes changes.
  • An approved logo or ad can't be replaced from the order page. You can still change it from Sponsors or Journal.

You can do everything a buyer can from your side at any time while Gala is open: upload a logo or artwork for them, type their ad, or name their guests in the ticket drawer.

Good to know

  • A logo or ad a buyer sends waits for your review. Nothing goes on your page or into the journal until you approve it.
  • Ovante limits how many changes one order can make in a short time, so a stuck browser can't flood your review list.
  • A hidden sponsor's logo task leaves their order page.
When
A Gala deadline is 14, 7 and 2 days away
Then
Ovante emails each order that still owes something for it (a sponsor logo, a journal ad or guest names), once per reminder, listing every open task with a link to the order page.
