Send committee members their links
After an import, pick who gets an email with their own link. Everyone with an email starts ticked; untick anyone, then send one email each.

The last step of a committee import, Send links, emails each person their own link to share. Everyone imported with an email address starts ticked. Untick anyone who shouldn't hear from you yet, then send.
Send the links
- 1Finish the import's Match columns step. The drawer moves to Send links and says how many people joined the committee.
- 2Under Send each their link, check the list. Each person with an email is ticked; people without one can't be.
- 3Untick anyone you want to leave out, or use the Everyone box at the top to tick or untick them all.
- 4Click Send with the number of links. Ovante sends one email per person, and a toast says how many went.
To finish without emailing anyone, click Don't send.
What each person gets
- An email from your event, titled "You're on the committee for" and the event's name, with their own link.
- It tells them everyone who registers through the link counts toward them, and that Ovante emails them each time someone does.
- Nobody is asked to make an account.
If some emails don't send
Ovante lists who it couldn't reach. Open Outreach → Committee, open that person's row menu and click Resend invitation.
Send a link later
- Resend invitation in a person's row menu emails their link at any time. It's greyed out until they have an email.
- Copy their link in the same menu copies it, to send any way you like.
- Adding an email to someone from the import and saving doesn't send anything by itself. Use Resend invitation.
Good to know
- People added one at a time with an email get their link when you add them. This step is only for imports.
- Every committee member keeps their link whether you email them or not. Tickets bought through it count from the start.

- Each row becomes a committee member with their own link, and nobody is emailed. The last step, Send links, emails only the people you leave ticked.

- You add a host who has an email

- Ovante emails them their link right away, and a note each time someone checks out through it. A host with a member account gets a link to their Hosting page.

- A guest arrives through a host's link
- Then
- Their order is credited to that host. On an event anyone can register for, the device remembers the latest host for 7 days, so a later visit without the link still credits them.
