Keep one event out of your CRM
Every event syncs to Salesforce and ChabadOne, and there's no switch on screen for one event. Support can keep an event out, or bring back one that History says is kept out.
ProOwner
Every event syncs to your CRM. An event's settings used to have a switch to keep it out; it was removed, and there's no switch on screen today. Ovante support can still mark one event to stay out of your CRM, or bring back an event that was marked before.
Ask for it
- 1Write to support@ovante.app.
- 2Name your organization and the event, and say whether you want it kept out of your CRM or synced again.
- 3Support replies once it's done. From then on, History shows the event's items as Not sent, or as Sent again.
To send what an event missed while it was kept out, Replay its rows in History, or use Bring in past events if the connection hasn't run it yet.
What a kept-out event skips
| Connector | Skipped | Still sent |
|---|---|---|
| Salesforce | The event's Campaign and its members | The person, as a contact, and any donation or purchase Tasks you've switched on |
| ChabadOne | The event's Campaign and its members | Ticket purchases and donations you've switched on, booked without the event's Campaign |
Each skipped item shows in History as Not sent, with a sentence saying the event is marked to stay out of your CRM.
Good to know
- This applies to Salesforce and ChabadOne. A Zapier, Make or custom webhook connection hears every event it subscribes to; filter by event in Zapier or Make if you need to.
- A test event you'd rather not sync can also stay a draft with no registrations. Nothing is sent until someone registers.
