Text message terms

Ovante texts only one-time sign-in codes that you ask for, on an organizer's behalf. Reply STOP to stop them and HELP for help.

These are the terms for the text messages Ovante sends, summarized from Ovante's SMS terms at https://ovante.app/sms-terms, which are the full version.

TopicThe terms
What Ovante textsOne kind of text: a one-time code that proves a phone number is yours, so you can sign in to an organization without a password. Each text comes from Ovante, names the organization, and says when the code expires. No marketing or promotional texts.
How you agreeYou ask for every code yourself, by entering your number on a sign-in page and choosing to continue. Nothing else signs you up, and Ovante doesn't text a number that didn't ask for a code.
How oftenOne text for each code you ask for, with a limit on codes per hour for one account.
CostOvante doesn't charge for the texts. Your carrier's message and data rates may apply.
Stopping textsReply STOP to any text. You get one text confirming, then no more, and you can still sign in with your email. Reply START to get codes by text again.
HelpReply HELP, or email support@ovante.app.
DeliveryCarriers deliver texts as best they can, and neither Ovante nor the carriers are liable for texts that are late or don't arrive. If a code doesn't come, ask for another or sign in with your email.
Your phone numberUsed to send the codes you ask for and to recognize your account with the organization you signed in to. Never sold, and never shared with anyone for their marketing. Twilio, which delivers the texts, gets your number only to deliver them.

Questions about the texts go to support@ovante.app. For anything about your tickets or membership, reply to an email from the organizer.
