Your saved cards

As a member, you can save cards with the organization and pay for tickets in one step. Your cards are listed under Payment methods on your membership page, where you add one, choose your default, or remove one.

Add a card

   On your membership page, under Payment methods, click Add a card.

   Tick Make it the default if this card should come first at checkout and renew your membership.

   Enter the card and click Save card. Nothing is charged.

If you signed in a while ago, Ovante first sends you a code to confirm it's you. You can also tick Save this card for next time when you pay at checkout.

Change your default card

Open the menu beside a card and click Make default. Your default card is the one checkout picks first, and the one a monthly or yearly membership renews on. If your card changed and a renewal failed, add the new card and make it the default.

Your first saved card becomes the default on its own. An expired card can't be the default.

Remove a card

Open the menu beside a card and click Remove card, then Remove. Past orders keep it on their receipts.

You can't remove the card your membership renews on. Make another card the default first, then remove the old one.

Paying with a saved card

At checkout, your saved cards are listed with Use a new card last. Checkout asks for the card's security code when you signed in more than 7 days ago, or when the order is $500 or more.

Good to know

• Your cards are saved with this one organization. Another organization on Ovante can't see or use them.
• Stripe keeps your card. The organization sees only its brand and last four digits.
• The organization can charge a saved card when you buy tickets or renew your membership.
• If your membership ends, your cards stay listed and you can still remove them, but you can't add new ones.
