Free, Pro and Gala
Free sells tickets within limits and takes a platform fee. Pro removes both and adds every feature. Gala is an add-on you buy for one event.
Ovante has two plans, Free and Pro, and one add-on, Gala, that you buy for a single event. Free publishes and sells with limits and a 5% platform fee. Pro is $49 a month or $480 a year, with no limits, no platform fee and every feature.

Stripe's own processing fees apply on every plan.
What Free includes
- Up to 3 live events at a time. A live event is published and hasn't ended; drafts and past events don't count.
- Up to 50 attendees per event.
- Paid tickets and membership dues, with the platform fee.
- Ticket types, promo codes and donations.
- Contacts, and email updates to your attendees.
What Pro adds
- No platform fee.
- Unlimited live events and attendees.
- Check-in at the door.
- Hosts and their referral links.
- Offline payments: cash, checks and transfers you collected yourself.
- Checkout questions and polls, approval, invite-only events and customized emails.
- Integrations: Salesforce, ChabadOne, Zapier, Make and webhooks.
- PayArc, to process cards at your own negotiated rates.
Gala
Gala turns one event into a gala run from that event: sponsors, journal ads, seating and the appeal. While Gala is open, that event runs every Pro feature whatever your plan, and Ovante takes no fee on anything it sells. Gala stays open until 90 days after the event ends. How you start
Every new organization gets 28 days of Pro with no card. See Your Pro trial.
- When
- An org on Free already has 3 live events
- Then
- Publishing another is refused until one ends or you unpublish one. Drafts, events that have ended and events with Gala don't count.
- When
- An event on Free reaches 50 attendees
- Then
- Checkout stops selling and the button says Sold out; buyers read that the event is at capacity. Events on Pro and events with Gala have no such cap.
- When
- An event's Gala is open
- Then
- It runs every Pro feature whatever your plan, pays no Ovante fee, has no attendee cap and doesn't count toward Free's live events.
- When
- A new org is created
- Then
- It gets 28 days of Pro with no card. When they end, the org moves to Free unless you've added a card.
