HelpJournal

Journal

Ad types, ad sales, review and export.

Guides

Set up journal ad typesAdd the ad sizes your journal sells, with a placement, a price, a trim size, what buyers send and how many you'll sell. They go on sale on your event page.

Record an ad paid by checkAdd a journal ad sold by check, cash or a transfer, or given free, with Add ad on the Journal page. Record it as Paid, Not paid yet or Complimentary.

Review ad filesBuyers send their ad from their order page. Approve it to put it in the journal, or request changes with a note they get by email. You can also type or upload it for them.

Export the journalPut the approved ads in page order, then download a ZIP for your designer: every ad as a file, in order, plus a CSV. Typed ads are drawn by the same code as the preview.

How it works

How guests buy adsGuests buy journal ads by card at checkout while Gala is open, with or without tickets. Ads keep selling after ticket sales close or sell out; a pause stops them.
