The Orders page

One row per order, with requests waiting on you pinned to the top. Filter by status or ticket type, decide requests in bulk, and open any order's drawer.

On this page

The Orders page lists one row per order for the event: each checkout, each order you added by hand, and each order with no tickets, like a gift given on its own or journal ads. It's where you approve requests, record payments and refund.

Open it

In the event, open Guests → Orders. The "Review request" email and the ticket drawer's Review order button open this page with that order's drawer showing.

What each row shows

ColumnWhat it shows
BuyerThe buyer's name. An order added by hand says "Added by you" after it, or "Added manually" when a teammate added it.
TicketsHow many tickets. An order with no tickets names what it holds, like "Gift" or "2 ads".
TotalThe order's total. On a paid request it's the amount held on the card, marked "held". "Free" when nothing was paid.
TypeTickets, Donation, Sponsorship or Journal ad. The column appears once the event has orders other than tickets.
StatusThe order status. See Order statuses.
OrderedWhen the order was placed.

Under the default sort, newest first, orders that are Pending approval sit at the top so none waits unseen. Click a column header to sort by it instead.

Filter the list

  • The status menu reads All orders until you pick Needs review, Paid, Free, Refunded or Declined. Each shows its count, and a status is listed once an order has it. On an event with approval tickets, Needs review and Declined are always listed. Needs review holds requests waiting on you and orders awaiting payment.
  • All tickets shows orders holding the ticket types you pick. Orders with no tickets drop out while it's on.
  • Search orders matches the buyer's name or email, the order number, and the names and emails on the order's tickets.

Decide requests in bulk

  1. 1
Click Select. It shows while requests wait and your role can approve them. The list narrows to Needs review and each row gets a checkbox.
  2. 2
Tick the requests you want to decide.
  3. 3
Read the line in the bar at the bottom. It says how many seats are left, or "Not enough seats for all".
  4. 4
Click Approve or Decline in the bar. Each button carries the number you picked.
  5. 5
Confirm. Leave the email checkbox on to email everyone, and for a decline add a note if you like.
  6. 6
Click the X on the bar, or press Escape, to stop selecting.

What each decision does is in Review requests.

The order drawer

Click a row to open the order. Top to bottom:

  • The buyer, with their email to copy.
  • The status card: where the order stands and the one action that fits. A request has Approve and Decline, an order awaiting payment has Mark as paid, and a free order has Record payment.
  • Tickets: everyone on the order with their status. Click one for the ticket drawer. Add guest puts another ticket on the order.
  • Payment: the receipt, from the tickets down to fees and what you receive.
  • Answers to the order's checkout questions, and Details: when it was ordered, Source (checkout, or who added it), Referred by and the order number.

The menu at the top holds Go to transaction, Resend confirmation, Copy email, Change status and Refund order, plus Record payment or Mark as paid when they apply. The arrows beside the title step through the list, or through the requests while a request is open.
