Find your way around
The sidebar is the only navigation. Inside an event it becomes that event's menu, and keyboard shortcuts jump between the main pages.
On this page
The sidebar on the left is the only navigation in Ovante. It holds your main pages and your next events, and at the bottom your organization's menu. Open an event and the middle of the sidebar becomes that event's menu.
The main pages

A row your role can't open doesn't show. The owner also sees a plan row: Pro trial with the days left during the trial, or Upgrade to Pro on Free.
Upcoming
Under the main rows, Upcoming lists your next few events that haven't ended, drafts included. Each row says Live, Today, a weekday or a date, and a live event has a green dot. Click one to open it.
Inside an event
Opening an event pushes the main menu aside and brings in the event's own:
- Events, with a back arrow, returns to the list.
- The event's name opens a menu: View event page, Copy event link, Live check-in, Switch event to another upcoming one, All events and Create event.
- Below it are the event's sections. A section with several pages opens to show them, one section at a time.

Seating, Journal, Appeal and the Gala page belong to Gala; without it they wear a lock. On a Gala event, Hosts reads Committee. An amber dot marks a page with something waiting for you, like requests to approve.
The bottom of the sidebar
- The setup guide, while your organization has one.
- Settings.
- Your organization's row, with its name and plan. Its menu switches organizations, answers invitations, invites people, opens Release notes, and holds your profile and Sign out.
- The bell, at the end of that row, holds notifications.
Collapse the sidebar
Press ⌘\ on a Mac or Ctrl+\ on Windows, or click the collapse button at the top. Collapsed, every row is an icon with its name on hover. Click the Ovante icon at the top to open it again. Ovante remembers your choice on this browser.
Shortcuts
Press G, then a letter. Shortcuts don't fire while you're typing in a field.

On a phone
A bar at the top of the screen holds a menu button. It opens the same sidebar as a drawer from the left. Inside an event, a button at the top of the page names the page you're on and opens the event's sections as a sheet.
In Settings
Settings has its own menu, beside a column of icons for the main pages. It lists your organization's settings, then your own under Personal. Click any icon in the column to leave Settings.
