A guest got an email greeting someone else
Several tickets share one email address, so that address gets one copy greeting one of them. Give each person their own email on their ticket.

An email you send to your guests goes to each ticket holder, one copy per address. When several tickets carry the same address, that address gets one copy greeting one person: the buyer, when the buyer is among them, and otherwise the oldest of those tickets. Guests often carry the buyer's address, and a family can share one inbox, so the copy can greet someone other than the person reading it.
Fix it
- 1In the event, open Outreach → Emails and open the email. On Recipients, rows marked Shared email share an address. Hover the mark to see who that copy greets.
- 2In Guests → Attendees, click a ticket that carries someone else's address.
- 3Click Edit, enter that person's own Email and click Save.
- 4Back on Recipients, the Shared email mark is gone and each address gets its own copy.

- A ticket has no email at all: see Add missing emails.
