Approve a sponsor's logo to put it on your page, or request changes with a note the sponsor gets by email and on their order page.

On this page
A logo a sponsor sends from their order page waits for you. Nothing goes on your event page until you approve it. Approve it, ask for changes, or upload a better file yourself.
Find logos to review
In the event, open Fundraising → Sponsors. The line above the list counts the logos to review, and the Logo column marks each one:
| Chip | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Sent, waiting for you |
| Changes requested | You asked for a new file |
| Approved | On your page |
| None | Nothing sent yet |
Sort by Logo to bring the ones waiting for you to the top.
Approve or ask for changes
- 1Click the sponsor. The Logo card shows the file on a checkerboard, so you can see where it's transparent.
- 2To publish it, click Approve. A Logo approved toast confirms it, and the logo appears on your page.
- 3To send it back, click Request changes, write under What should change?, and click Send request. Ovante emails the sponsor your note, and their order page shows it.
- 4To use a file you have, click Upload a logo (or Upload a new logo) and pick an SVG, PNG or JPEG. A logo you upload goes live at once.
What approving does
- An SVG is cleaned, drawn as a picture trimmed to the logo itself, and published. Your page then paints it in its own colors.
- A PNG or JPEG is published as it is.
- The sponsor's logo benefits tick themselves: Logo on the screen and Logo in the journal at once, and Logo on the event page as long as the sponsor is shown and not anonymous.
When Ovante won't approve a logo
| Message | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| This SVG has a background | Its shapes fill almost the whole frame, so it would paint as a solid block | Ask for a version on a transparent background |
| This SVG is empty | Nothing in it draws | Ask for the file again |
| This file isn't a readable SVG | The file is damaged or not an SVG | Ask them to export it again |
| A PDF can't go on the page | PDFs aren't images | Upload an SVG, PNG or JPEG of it |
Good to know
- An anonymous sponsor's logo never shows on the page, even approved. Uploading one tells you so.
- To swap an approved logo, upload a new one, or request changes so the sponsor sends one.
- The sponsor can't replace an approved logo from their order page.
- When
- A sponsor sends a logo
- Then
- It shows on the event page only after you approve it and their level has Logo on the event page on. An anonymous sponsor shows with no name, logo or link.
- When
- A Gala deadline is 14, 7 and 2 days away
- Then
- Ovante emails each order that still owes something for it (a sponsor logo, a journal ad or guest names), once per reminder, listing every open task with a link to the order page.
